OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Representative Jason Lowe, dedicated public servant and attorney, has officially filed his candidacy for Oklahoma County Commissioner District 1. With a proven track record of advocating for constituents and clients alike, Lowe is committed to bringing his passion for justice, mental health treatment and economic opportunity to Oklahoma County.

“My campaign for County Commissioner will focus on kitchen table issues, emphasizing improving public safety, enhancing infrastructure and promoting economic development. I believe that by working together, our communities can create a brighter future for all residents of Oklahoma County.”

“From Midwest City, Del City The Village, core Oklahoma City – including my current district in Northeast OKC – to neighborhoods like Mesta Park and Eastern Oklahoma County communities like Spencer, Jones and Luther, we have similar goals that should align: better roads, improved public safety, and a commitment to serving and listening to our diverse communities to reach shared goals.”

With deep roots in the community, Lowe earned his law degree from Oklahoma City University School of Law and has dedicated his career to public service. He is the founding member of The Lowe Law Firm and has served as Oklahoma State Representative for House District 97 since 2016.

As an attorney, Lowe has fought tirelessly to ensure that justice is served and that the voices of the marginalized are heard. His annual Family Fun Day events showcase a commitment to empowering and supporting the community and have provided over 10,000 families with free school supplies, health screenings, and haircuts so kids have the basic necessities to start the school year.

Lowe formally served as chairman of the Oklahoma Legislative Black Caucus and is the first African American attorney from HD 97 appointed to the House Judiciary Committee. His extensive experience and unwavering commitment to justice make him uniquely qualified to serve as Oklahoma County Commissioner.

The primary special election will be held on Tuesday, February 11th, 2025.  For more information about Jason Lowe's campaign, please visit his website at loweforcommissioner.com.
